Creating your first gig on WorkBriefly & what to expect

Welcome to WorkBriefly! Congrats on taking the first step and setting up your account. This post answers the question:

“How do I start creating gigs and what’s the process like?”.

First things first: Create a gig

You can do this by logging in and locating the “Create a gig” button on the sidebar.

From there it’s just a matter of going through the steps and prompts to create your gig. From entering the gig description to other details such as time, location, and wages.

Once you’re done simply follow this guide which outlines the next steps to take:

Additionally — Before the start of a gig:

  • Prepare a short introduction and an explanation of what needs to be done so that you can brief the worker(s) upon their arrival. (We recommend creating a short script/document that can be reused).
  • Prepare any attire/equipment that you might require the worker to wear/use for the job (eg. apron, mask, gloves, goggles, etc).

That about sums up the process you can expect from creating your first gig to checking in & out workers as well as payments. Click here to view some tips on how to fill your gigs in a timely manner.
